Ballina, Northern NSW, once know as a very quiet town has developed into a very vibrant country town due to being the catchment of Lismore and Byron Bay as well as buzzing business travel from Sydney to Gold Coast and Brisbane.
It has attractive water walks and an International Hotel Brand Resort. UHL Hospitality claims part of the credit due to its appointment as Development Strategist, by the town’s leading members of the Community.
Glen Stotter from BBS took the helm with UHL to develop the first Ramada International Boutique Resort, situated on the river with the growth vision of the second Ramada practically next door.
The town planning of inner CBD and walkways was done in conjunction with the redevelopment plan of the river promenade and the hotel developments. UHL’s advice was based on their feasibility and viability studies. The UHL mission was to guide the Owner Management Team and franchisors into the first months trading, known to be the most difficult and to continue the support at arms length.
